Chose because of spa, which was lovely, but sadly very basic

Location goo for exploring Norwich and Norfolk
Food and drink overpriced, the drinks were very expensive!
Signage to the spa, dining room etc poor
The accessibility was poor, with long corridors and steps everywhere eg from the spa to the facilities was a long corridors, and steps from changing rooms, no lift from the accessible room to bar/dining etc again a ling walk and not all areas are accessible for those with mobility issues

Splendid, tranquil location
The ‘Deluxe’ room originally allocated was dark, dingy and in poor state of repair. We were allocated a better room next day when one became available. Disliked being repeatedly herded about with coach holiday guests for table allocations and standing in long queues for buffet breakfast service.

Good value for money with facilities to match.
Breakfasts were good and plentiful but one evening meal for 6 ended up with two meals luke warm and one arriving 20 minutes after the other which was disappointing.

Room was clean, nice. Breakfast was passable. Had to go get myself a fork.
Room service was terrible. Had to go to main reception to order as no one answering the phone. Then it turned up over an hour later - cold and poorly cooked. Quite how you can undercook a burger whilst cremating the bun and then serve the plate with everything cold is beyond me. Pizza my wife ordered was equally luke warm. If I ever stay there again will not be ordering food or trying the restaurant.

The food was excellent and the restaurant staff were first class.
Several of the staff in the main hotel were not especially helpful. To access our room we had to go down a lift and then up another lift. We got lost and met other guests also bemused. There were no water glasses in room for drinking water / rinsing mouth in bathroom. Our particular room had a slight stale odour.

Comfortable room, excellent breakfasts, great location and lovely grounds.Good pool, gym and spa facilities. Easy parking. And helpful and efficient staff.
Could do with some brighter lighting in the room. And a little more choice on the dinner menu would be nice.
