Breakfast was good.
The dinner took ages. At least 1 hour between each course.
Room was really hot no fan or air con so slept terribly, no fridge even though one of the cupboards looked like It was made for a fridge
Nice looking character property but not worth nearly £500 for 2 nights at all

Wonderful
The games room and DVD room for the children.
Fish finger sandwich had 1.5 fish fingers in it, so not
worth the money..
Hair dryer in the bedroom would have been useful.

Good
We enjoyed the leisure facilities including the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The food served was tasty.and well presented.
Unable to control the heating, the room was cold at times. No Elemis products in the superior room we had booked as advertised. The outside grounds were given over to the golfers only which meant that whilst walks were available you could not do this from the hotel itself.

Pleasant
Absolutely stunning location, lovely decoration of corridors, super comfy beds, child-friendly rooms, helpful reception staff, large swimming pool which my children were able to attend. Thank you for allowing them in, although others didn’t seem pleased, children do exist and are able to have fun!
Rooms are out-dated, could do with an upgrade that matches the corridors as I think the colours of that are stun! More plug sockets in a room especially a family friendly room — this wasn’t a massive issue however what was is that there is absolutely no air con. Having to keep the window wide open all night for a tiny bit of breeze. Luckily reception did bring a fan up, although it was the smallest, thank you for that. No fridge in room. BBQ wings to room service is a massive avoid, my 8 year old didn’t even eat them. We would come again, just bringing a fan next time.

Disappointing
Breakfast. The non accessible room was good.
The accessible room was too dark, lighting poor. All the accessible power sockets were being used by room appliances. Those left were at floor level, difficult to see or reach.
The bed was a 4foot 6inch bed and was too small for two people with accessibilty problems. My wife actually fell out the bed. We did ask for the room to be changed but non were available.

Fair
The location and the facilities on offer.
The receptionist was quite rude and dismissive when we tried to order a taxi saying "you will be lucky, Norwich is very busy tonight!" We asked her to try and let us know while we went to our room and we were never contacted, however, at the time we asked for a taxi one did arrive. We asked for the taxi to pick us up at 10.30 at the theatre but by 11.45pm they didn't show. We rang the hotel to see if they could chase or order us another taxi but nobody picked up the phone! We managed to get a taxi ourselves. Our room had lots of chips on the furniture which needs to be repaired or changed. Breakfast was awful! We went for a cooked breakfast at the buffet, no bacon, we were told it was on its way but after 5 minutes it still hadn't arrived so we carried on without. We ordered a pot of tea and that was luke warm.
